Progress in quality assurance and technical developments in genetic testing
The EuroGentest Scientific meeting will focus on quality issues with an overview of the recent achievements of the projects and a discussion on hot policy issues. The meeting will include a round table on the importance of External Quality Assessment (EQA) for improving the quality of laboratory testing, and end with an outlook on the future of genetic diagnostics.
The TECHGENE Scientific meeting will focus on technical developments in genetic diagnostics in general and on specific topics such as whole exome sequencing. In addition, different aspects of the TECHGENE project will be addressed.
The TECHGENE workshop will focus on genetic diagnostics in sensory disorders.
